We, as a team, have a long standing relationship with Flowtite, GRP - from its predecessor (Flowtite, Norway) to today, Saudi based owner, Amiantit. Having visited the Norwegian plant, and subsequently invited and attended their world-wide water conference (Velden, Austria), to meetings in Kuala Lumpur, and in turn successfully assisting to bring the technology to Australia (South Australia, the inaugural manufacturing plant). Whilst the Australian market is relatively small, but nonetheless important - and we continue to believe, in the longer term - shifting large quantities of water around our country - where the tyranny of distance over such a large, dry continent, is both a blessing, and at times challenging. Meshed with innovative financing models and changes in renewable (localised) energy, balancing progress & preservation, such visions can start to be thought of, developed and implemented - and with timely Government support in lowering the administrative hurdles.
GRP pipes (glass reinforced polymer) - one of the best technologies for large scale water projects, from 0.2m to 4.5m in diameter frictionless, light weight, easy installations, adaptable, long lasting.
